How We Work: Changing Accountants and HMRC Authorisation

Contact us1. We get to know you and gather the information we need
We discuss your business and explain exactly which documents and information we need. We securely collect your business details, contact information, HMRC references and previous tax returns or filings. Where relevant, we also review your payroll and VAT records. If anything is missing, we will let you know early so there are no unexpected delays.
2. We arrange HMRC agent authorisation
Once you decide to work with us, we complete the necessary steps for HMRC to authorise us as your agent. This allows us to communicate directly with HMRC on your behalf and manage the agreed tax and accounting responsibilities.
3. We take over your accounting administration
We arrange access to your accounting software, payroll records and business documents. We then confirm how we will work together, the important deadlines and the next steps, so you know what to expect from the start.
